Um ... the faith based initiative was a politicized joke [see this]. If foundations are in it to make the country, and the world, a better place, it seems a discussion about the paramount issue of the current time is in order. That's all I was saying. And if the reason foundation leaders aren't speaking out now is because they think Bush's foreign policy has been a smashing success then things are more dire than I imagined. And I think I could write a post about frozen chocolate covered bananas and somehow there would be a comment to be made about donor intent.
